Homework

Fifth Grade Homework Policy

•  Homework will not be given on weekends. Students are expected to read at least 20 minutes per day or do a reading activity on the computer (Raz Kids, Headsprout, Lexia, etc). Math expectations are to practice or review 5-15 minutes per day. That could be concepts learned in class, but more likely math facts or a math program on the computer (ST Math).

• The only other homework from College Park is optional and based on student choice. this may include​ studying for a test, family activities (art, chores,or playing a game), community activities (Boy/Girl Scouts, Adventure Guides, sports, etc), Hobbies (art, music, STEAM, etc), or creating a presentation based on the student's interest.

 

• Homework will not be graded.
